The Duhigg Law Firm Prevails Against Wells Fargo

The Duhigg Law Firm prevailed in a case against Wells Fargo after the bank wrongfully foreclosed upon the Dollens home following Mr. Dollens' death. Most of the case was upheld on appeal and the District Court has awarded $2.5 million in punitive damages to the Dollens Estate on remand.

District Judge Beatrice Brickhouse said the bank’s conduct was shocking and reprehensible.

Katy Duhigg, a lawyer for Dollens’ estate, said that the ruling ‘‘protected people over profits."
